You want five songs to sing along to? This is it. Standout track imo is lead off track “My Escape” that is a gripping track that I personally can’t stop listening to. There is some My Chemical Romance vibes on this EP w/ punchy verses and chorus’s. Vocalist (Alex) really show’s off his range on these tracks.

Featuring Members of Motograter this debut EP is every bit of that Nu Metal, grungy sound. Guitarist Spencer has come up w/ some great guitar licks for this. The screams and growls mixed w/ those guitar tones, the bass comes in heavy and the drums keep it all together. Very impressive debut.

The band was formed w/ Ex members of Eternal Frequency and Ignite The Fire. This EP is the culmination of some of the absolute best song writers in the area. “Silence”, the lead off single is an absolute Radio banger. Vocalist Jack has one of the best voices around, meanwhile you have rap vocals as well. Linkin Park would be a good comparison however I think that KVRMA is a bit of a more mature version.

It’s a bit of a crime that this is only 4 songs. If “I need more” had a theme this would be it. “Numb The Pain” is a stand out track that could climb national charts. The mix of clean vocals and screams is chef’s kiss. Main song writer and vocalist Tanis P. has been grinding for years and this EP proves he’s really found his calling.

This is all killer no filler, straight to you face progressive metal w/ Emo chorus’s. There is intense screaming mixed w/ emotional singing that will take you on a ride. There’s some real amazing song writing on this ep. I’m very excited to hear a full length from this outfit.

There’s no question that Nailbite are one of the most creative Metal bands on the scene. Thier mix of grinding guitars, Keyboards, duel vocals and ambient sound scapes captures the listener. Even on a five song ep there are few things you won’t hear. I liken Nailbite albums and ep’s to a movie as they really take you on a journey w/ thier music.

Powerful metal very liken to a band like Kublai Khan w/ the breakdowns and flow of the music. Its almost impossible to listen and not move your head. I do enjoy how it doesn’t waste any time and grabs you seconds into the EP and doesn’t let you go until the final note.
