It’s never too early to start considering who may or may not be performing at the next years festivals. Incarceration being the smallest of the Danny Wimmer promotions it seems to be the most fun to predict. Being three days and of course there is some constraints on it as certain bands are simply to big. We will examine some possible headliners and a few upper tier acts and then put together our Wish list, a “if we were booking the show” kind of situation. So, sit back and read up on our analysis and enjoy our predictions.

THE UNLIKELY SUSPECTS:

RAMMSTEIN
The boys from Germany just aren’t in the conversation in our opinion. 1. They come with a price tag that would skyrocket ticket costs. 2. Their stage show is incredibly intricate and gigantic. I just don’t see them scaling it down for a festival. I’d consider them a 5% chance, as I’d never say never but I severely doubt it

SYSTEM OF A DOWN
This is another one that I’m going to say is simply to big and out of budget for Inkcarceration. Now, I can see them at Sonic Temple or Welcome to Rockville, however the budget for Ink simply doesn’t seem to have the wiggle room for a band of this stature. I’d give them a 10% chance. Still not completely out but again not likely.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE
There are a few things working against this one. 1. The band is not currently active, meanwhile guitarist Tom Morello is very active on his solo career. 2. Again, I’d have to say out of budget. If they were to do a run of shows in 2027, I’d see Sonic being a more likely fit. Again 10% chance.

‍ ‍Those are the three that seem to be the most requested that are likely out of budget for the festival. A few other names that would likely be out of budget and in the same category but aren’t asked about as much would be: Metallica, Iron Maiden and Motley Crue.
