Inkcarceration is one of my favorite festivals. This will be my fourth time going. I like it because it’s a bit smaller and easier to navigate as well as see every band. If you played your cards right, you can easily catch a few songs of every single band that plays. I want to go ahead and give you some bands to check out at the festival that you may not be planning to or may have slipped under your radar
KING 810 - As far as live acts go these fella’s tear it up every time. With their blend of Brutality and subtly they will hit you deep w/ the content and open the pits w/ the riffs. 100% Do Not miss them.
IF NOT FOR ME - Out of Harrisburg, they are on the rise in the metal community and could very well be the next big thing from our area. An area that has recently birthed bands like Halestorm and From Ashes To New. If Not For Me is the next in class and you get a chance to see them show you why at Ink.
SILLY GOOSE - Silly Goose has been making a name for themselves playing these festivals in the parking lots and campgrounds and now they are getting the opportunities to hit the real stages. Their blend of rap / metal is a refreshing take, and they’ll have the crowd moving the entire time.
ARCHERS - You’ve seen bands like Catch Your Breath, Nothing More and Funeral Portrait blow up as of late and Archers is next. Their emotionally charged set will blow you away and youll be on your phone seeing when you can check em out next.
SANGUISUGABOGG - Ohio’s Sanguisugabogg is out for your head. They bring a brutal to live shows that is unmatched. Plenty of crowd participation including the hot potato football mosh pit. Don’t miss these guys set.
